Scott Thompson is the Project & Communications Coordinator for WRI’s forest ecosystems management and conservation work in Central Africa. Previously at WRI, he worked with the Development Program, providing communications and research support to the institute’s domestic and international fundraising objectives.

Prior to joining WRI in April 2007, Scott completed his M.A. in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, during which he studied at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques (Sciences Po) in Paris, France. A graduate of Wake Forest University in 2005, Scott has interned with the Center for Strategic and International Studies, the French-American Foundation in Paris, and the UK House of Commons.
