Samantha Putt del Pino is a Senior Associate in WRI’s Climate and Energy program where she leads the US Climate Business Group, a cross-sector network of 45 Fortune 500 companies. The Group builds strategies for companies to thrive in a carbon constrained economy and is anchored by workgroups in the Northeast (www.climatenortheast.org), Midwest (www.climatemidwest.org) and the Southeast. Samantha also has spearheaded the organization’s internal climate commitment, developing its annual greenhouse gas inventory and pursuing reduction projects including procuring renewable energy for WRI’s headquarters. Prior to WRI, Samantha worked on fundraising and communications activities for the Environmental Fund for Georgia and the Zoological Society of Florida.
