Kristin Snyder joined WRI in April 2001 and moved to Global Forest Watch (GFW) in May 2003 as the Central Africa coordinator and finance manager for the People and Ecosystems Program. In October 2006 she became Budget Analyst for WRI. Kristin has a B.S. in biology from the University of Iowa and served in the Peace Corps in Gabon, Central Africa, from October 1998 to November 2000 as a rural fish culture extension agent. She's traveled in Gabon, Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire and Mali.
